Fotoheide - a Photographers Tale

The Book traces Heide’s career as a photographer, beginning with her apprenticeship in Hameln Germany in 1954 to the present day; 70 years later. The previous 11 books of Heide’s images have sold more than 35,000 copies: but they were always about specific locations, projects, people or events. The more than 200 images in this book cover all the major events in her career, from her first portrait in 1951, to her latest in 2023, including a number of the stories behind the images. All the images are black and white, Heide’s favorite medium.
