Heide Smith has been a photographer for over 70 years, and Fotoheide was her trade name in Germany. The book contains over 200 black and white images; landscapes taken in Europe, Australia, India and Cambodia, and portraits taken of churchmen, presidents, prime ministers, judges, artists, musicians, tiwi people and many others, plus many of the stories behind the shots.
