about heide

I initially worked as an industrial photographer and later as a photo journalist in Germany after completing my training and schooling in 1959. I loved the capabilities of my large format Linhof view camera, the square format of my Rollei Twin Lens Reflex, and the super light weight Leica. Later in Australia I continued to work with film until 2000, when I changed to digital. Many of the images on this site came from self-commissioned projects; and I still seek new projects to work on today. I love the digital world of today and I believe that; "Once a photographer, always a CAMERA WOMAN !"
